KARDESH · Profession Circles

Carry a vocational concern with the right people, sources and languages.

A Profession Circle is not a chat group or a crowd in which every voice claims the same authority. It begins by listening to the people who live with a real concern. It then brings practitioners, source stewards, guests from other fields and the next generation together with clear roles and limits. The aim is not to produce quick opinions, but to understand better and accept responsibility.

What is a Profession Circle?

A Profession Circle does not speak for an entire vocation. It carries one concrete concern through relevant experience, sources and EDEB.

How should a learning tool protect a child's privacy? How should a synthetic video disclose its source and consent? Questions like these need more than a technical answer. They call the people affected, vocational experience, sources, other disciplines and the consequences of use to the same table. A circle does not flatten these contributions. It makes clear who knows what, where disagreement remains and who will carry the next responsibility.

Everyone in a circle has equal dignity, but not every statement carries the same competence or authority.

From conversation to shared responsibility

Conversation can multiply ideas; a Profession Circle carries the concern, sources, disagreement and next responsibility together.

01

Scattered conversation

Words can be spoken and then lost

  • The concern and the people affected can remain unclear
  • Experience and opinion can appear to carry the same weight
  • Sources and objections can disappear in the conversation
  • The next step and continuing care can be left without an owner
02

Profession Circle

Words are connected to responsibility

  • The real concern and the people affected are heard
  • Roles, competence, sources and limits are made clear
  • Disagreement and what remains unknown stay visible
  • Small tasks, correction and continuing care are shared

Who can take part?

People approach the same concern from different places. Clear roles protect both the person and the work.

01

A person living with the concern

Explains how the concern appears in daily life, what causes harm and which needs cannot be assumed from a distance.

02

Practitioner or master

Carries field experience, method, the questions that require professional judgement and the limits that must not be crossed.

03

Source and interpretation steward

Brings texts, data, historical knowledge and different views with their sources, without presenting one interpretation as the whole vocation.

04

Guest from another vocation or language

Makes another person, geography, discipline or conceptual difference visible while respecting the limits of their own field.

05

Builder, designer or tool specialist

Turns knowledge into clear content, data, games, software or supporting tools without taking over professional judgement or human decision.

06

Yamak, Çırak or young observer

Listens, asks questions and takes a small age-appropriate responsibility. Direct work with children also requires household visibility and Child SEDD.

A circle's working rhythm

Begin by listening to the real person and concern, not with a ready-made solution.

These movements are not a linear production line. A new source, objection or risk of harm may return the circle to listening. The work may change direction, be limited or stop.

01Listen to the concern and the people affectedUnderstand the question in the language and setting of those who live with it, including what they have already tried. Do not impose the solution in advance.
02Bring sources and different voices togetherKeep mother-tongue knowledge, vocational experience, another language or geography and what remains unknown visible in the same context.
03Clarify roles, limits and a small responsibilityMake clear who listens, who brings sources, who carries professional judgement, who tests and who is present only as an observer.
04Work together without hiding disagreementPrepare a note, guide, question, small test or representation. Do not erase what remains disputed, unclear or risky from the result.
05Correct the work and name the next trustSeek feedback from the people concerned, correct the record and name who carries continuation, stopping, transfer, maintenance or sharing.

What can emerge from a circle?

A circle does not have to end in a product or publication.

01

A better question and concern record

The concern may prove different from the first assumption, revealing other people, conditions or limits that must be considered.

02

A map of sources and views

Sources, interpretations, field experience, gaps and disagreements can be shown together with their context.

03

A guide or learning resource

The circle may prepare a clear reading, case or practice guide for practitioners, young people, households, schools or another language circle.

04

A limited test or a need for Build

The circle may propose Labs to test an assumption in a real setting, or Build to create a working representation.

05

A SEDD limit or a decision to stop

If rights, privacy, child safety, competence, sources or protection from harm cannot be secured, limiting or not doing the work may be the right outcome.

06

Correction and continuing care

An existing record, tool or piece of content can be corrected, with its update, objection, withdrawal and maintenance paths assigned to people.

Neighbourhood across languages, vocations and generations

A circle protects depth in the mother tongue and welcomes other languages and vocations as neighbours who help correct shared knowledge.

A participant carries the sources and experience of their language in a primary Profession Circle, visits a circle in another language, works with other vocations in a Mission and opens an age-appropriate place for the next generation. Translation technology can make meetings and documents more accessible, but it cannot take over interpretation or professional judgement. Important decisions remain with mother-tongue stewards and people with relevant competence.

Take root in one language, become a neighbour in another and open your mastery to a shared concern.

What do two preparation concerns show?

An everyday question reveals why one vocation or technical team cannot carry the whole concern alone.

01

Learning content and Child SEDD

A teacher, child-development specialist, source steward, household, SEDD steward and tool specialist consider child data, model suggestions and pedagogical judgement together.

02

Media sources, consent and synthetic representation

A media practitioner, source examiner, privacy steward, language steward and Builder make the source, consent, editing, synthetic elements and withdrawal path of a publication visible.

Foundational preparation records

Sources and responsible contributors are being sought for two Profession Circle records in Teaching and Media.

The cards show the concern being explored, the kinds of contribution it may require and its current preparation status. `Sourcing` does not mean there is an active circle, appointed steward, open role, application route or accepted professional judgement. No working period has been announced.

Preparation and interest

Which vocational concern, language, source or field experience would you like to help carry in a circle?

The membership, stewardship and working arrangements of Profession Circles are still being prepared. For now, you can share your vocation, languages, a concern you live with, a source or a possible guidance contribution. This is not an announcement of an active circle, open role, membership, appointment, professional judgement or publication acceptance.
